Proven across Taiwan's rail network

For Taiwan Railways, Welltek delivered remote monitoring of Automatic Train Protection equipment across more than 297 stations with Bombardier Transportation (now Alstom) — supplying station-by-station drawings, assembling monitoring equipment to each site's layout, and designing wire frames that fit the new system into existing trackside cabinets. At Qidu in Keelung, Welltek combined Voestalpine hotbox detection with PantoInspect pantograph inspection to create Taiwan's first digital rolling-stock inspection site, then maintained the systems and trained TRA staff over the following five years.

Localization for suppliers entering Taiwan

Railway suppliers entering Taiwan face unique station layouts, legacy trackside equipment and demanding public-agency procurement. Welltek acts as the bridge — capturing operator requirements, adapting international products to local conditions, and staying on after commissioning so operators can move from conditional to preventative maintenance.
